Sparvara

Sparvara was a village whit a castel and church, founded probably during lombard period and developed for over three centuries until desertion.
It was in the riverbed of the Po river in front of the mouth of Tanaro river and probably connect whit ferry the two side of the Padana plane.
Was a fluvial territory , umid and full of forest so this economy was based on hunting, fishing and farming.
Furthermore was a strategical checkpoint for moving throught Pavia's territory .
